Women-Owned Businesses of Fort Collins

The pandemic challenged small businesses in many ways, but even more, it challenged women in the workforce.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, 80% of the 1.1 million people who exited the workforce as a result of the pandemic were women. Recovery insights from McKinsey suggest that pre-pandemic employment levels for women won’t be achieved until 2024.

As a community with 66% of our working population being women ages of 16 and older, it’s imperative for us to support women in the workforce, and show up for women-owned businesses.

A platform for women-owned businesses, For Fort Collins exists to connect these businesses with their community. Supporting our local small businesses will lead to their success and the betterment of our community as a whole.
